About Us

Our name reflects not only what we publish, but why we publish.

The Bible teaches that, by nature, people are spiritually dead - separated from God and unable to give themselves life (Ephesians 2:1). Yet God, in his mercy, makes people alive together with Christ. This movement from death to life is entirely his work and is the heart of the Christian message.

Made Alive Press exists because we believe God uses his Word to bring that life. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, people are raised from spiritual death to eternal life, and those who belong to Christ are called to grow and live in light of that new life.

Everything we publish is shaped by this conviction: that the gospel does not merely inform, but brings life, and that God continues to use clear, faithful words not only to save, but to shape his people as they walk in the good works he has prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10).

Who We Are

Dave and Sammy Jensen are the founders of Made Alive Press. Dave serves as an evangelist within the Sydney Anglican Diocese and is the Director of the The Alive Movement, as well as the author of the evangelistic books ‘What is a Christian?’ and ‘Discover’. Sammy is a mum to their four boys and owns her own business, Virtual Church Assist. Together, they have started Made Alive Press in order to publish evangelistic resources to help non-Christians meet Jesus, and to equip Christians to speak the gospel with clarity and confidence.

Everything we publish is prayerfully considered, carefully written, and purposefully presented to help people discover who God is, what He has done, and how His life-changing truth can make them truly alive.
